Mr. Marvin Cassedy, age 75, passed away at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Marvin was the son of the late Ben Cassedy and Myrtle Ackerman Cassedy. He lived in the Statesboro area all of his life except while he was serving his country in the United States Army. A painter by trade, Marvin, enjoyed seeing the transformation when he had completed a job. Outdoors was where he was happiest--whether farming the land, hunting, or fishing.
